It sounds like it is coming from the power supply box with the fan in the rear of the tower when I take the side off and listen close. It stops after it has finished booting and I don’t hear it again no matter how many times I restart the PC. It’s always just the first start up of the day. PC is about 3 years old.
I have a pc game on my desktop computer that I want to install onto my laptop, but the CD that you install the game with is so scratched up that you can’t install it. How do I get that game onto my laptop without using the installation CD? Maybe with a cable or burning a CD? Please help. Thanks!
I need to transfer files from my desktop pc to my notebook. I have got a usb cable, and I want to transfer the files using this cable. My desktop runs Windows XP and my notebook runs Windows Vista.
